Inventory

The inventory view contains all of the parts in your database. Here you can manage your inventory.

The inventory list view shows all the parts in your database. Parts can have as many different part numbers as needed.

Searching for Parts

You can search for parts by using the search bar on the top navigation and pressing enter. You can filter by:

  • Part name

  • Part number

Part Detail View

Clicking on the action button on the inventory list view will take you to the part detail view, where you can see all of that part's information.

Adding a Part

To add a part to your database, click on add part at the top right corner of the Inventory list view.

The only required fields for creating a part are

  • Name

  • Price

  • Part number

Other fields include

  • Cost (used to calculate profit margins)

  • MSRP

  • Target (for inventory tracking)

  • In stock (for inventory tracking)

Editing a part

From a part's detail view, at the top right corner you can edit a part. This will take you to the same view as creating a part, but it will be prefilled with the parts information.

Inventory Tracking

Parts have two fields use for inventory tracking: target and in stock. If the amount in stock, is lower than the target amount, then the part is flagged as low stock. To get a list of all the parts that are in low stock, toggle the Low Stock switch on the top right hand corner of the inventory list view.
